My name is Andre Cordova and I'm a singer-songwriter.
How did you get into music?
My mother simultaneously introduced me to the Sydney Children's Choir and classical guitar when I was a kid (late primary school).
How would you describe your music?
Versatile. Though if we're talking genre; I'd say Pop, Latin Pop & Dance.
You recently entered the Mr Gay Australia competition how did you find it?
I found it to be an interesting experience. I did have fun, despite the politics in the background.
Best country in the world and why?
Honestly, that's a difficult question to answer because visiting as a tourist and living there are two very different things. It's easy to speak positively of a country when you don't have to deal with the flaws and corruption that plague it. Still, I'm gonna be sappy and say Peru (my heritage). For my family, the food, Inca Kola, and the random parties. They'll find any excuse to dance, it's great.
What countries would you still like to see?
I'd love to visit Japan. Probably top of my list at the moment. I've already seen quite a few countries over the years.
In your photos you get your kit off are you comfortable with your body?
Yes. I wasn't always, even with my history of gymnastics and kick boxing, but going to the gym regularly definitely helps build your self-confidence. Ideal for both music and modelling.
Plan for the rest of 2019?
Professionally? Release the "Unless You Care" music video, get the mission statement of said track out there, promote my 'Heat' EP, score some gigs, work on my next album, launch a single & music video for it later this year, and talk myself out of adopting another cat.
